I'd typically swim 4500-5500 LCM

I would also schedule long swim days where I'd swim 7500-10000. I know I did 10k 3x before the race - once LCM and the other 2x open water.

The long swims really helped. The first time I swam 10k... I was nuked. It got better over time.
